Eltham Palace

We went to Eltham Palace today. The weather was perfect. I think it might have been the warmest ever for this time of year.
Eltham is a fantastic place with it's history ranging from the 1300's to the 1930's.
If you like Art Deco, I highly recommend it when you visit London.
Most of the photos are from the gardens since you can't take photos in the house.
It's amazing that a home has rooms in Art Deco style leading into a banqueting hall from the 1400's that Henry VIII would have been running around in.
Hope you enjoy!

Goin' Home

Hello all,
It's time to go home for a little visit.
I haven't been back in a little over a year now.
I'm certainy looking forward to being back and seeing the family.
I just need to remember which way to look when I cross the road!
Keep an eye out for new pics when I get back.
Thanks for checking in and let me know what you think of the latest pics and postings,

Easter at the Pergola

Hello again,
We took lots of pics this time... These are of the Pergola area of the park. It was built in the 1920's as part of an enormous estate and was completely refurbished in the 1990's. You can't get an idea of the size of the thing. It's more than a city block long. Thank goodness some folks with lots of money know how to spend it!
Hope you enjoy!

Easter In London

Hello Again,
Happy Easter from London. Simon and I spent the day exploring Hamstead Heath. It's the largest park in London at about 700 acres. We find a new part every time we go. It's a short walk form our apartment.
We are breaking records for warm weather in London and all of the trees and flowers are out in full force.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Leave a note if you stop in.
Take care until the next time,
Kent
